Biography:
Tony was born in New York where he enjoyed art even as a child. He took art classes in high school and continues to take classes when he can but is basically self taught. He set aside his art when he married but art has always found a way to come back into his life. Since 2007 artwork has been his primary focus.
He has Several artists which he says inspire him the most: Robert Bateman, Frank Frazetta, and Andrew Wyeth and for the Chiaroscuro style: Caravaggio and Rembrandt. Each one brings something to the canvas which makes their work stand out. Something Tony works toward. His favorite type of art is wildlife and landscapes because it takes him outdoors. Tony also does portraits where he uses the Chiaroscuro style of painting. His other art work includes murals and works in wood.
